O’Rahillys Win League Title

Clonoe won the senior league title at Edendork on Saturday afternoon when they recovered from a slow start to beat rivals Coalisland on a 1-9 to 0-7 score line. Gerard Toner, Eoghan Carberry and defender Paddy O’Farrell all had points for the Fianna in the opening quarter before Clonoe responded with efforts from Conor McAliskey and Niall Kilpatrick to leave only the minimum between the sides at the break. McAliskey and Colm Doris had Clonoe points on the restart before Danny McNulty fired in the only goal of the game and despite points from Brian Toner and Niall Fox for the Fianna it was the O’Rahillys who took the title.
