Owen Roes held their annual Primary School Blitz last Thursday. On a chilly evening, Fermanagh, under the guidance of coaches Tara Donaghey and Gemma Coyle, edged out Galway, who were managed by coaching officer Paul Phillips. The Erne County just got the better of a brilliant Galway team that had entertained the crowds all evening, in a superb final full of everything that is good about Gaelic Football.

Club Captain Brendan Boggs made the presentation of the Cup to the winning side, captained by Zach Boyle.
The Owen Roes primary school blitz, organised this year by youth officer Stephen Kelly, is the Club’s annual end of term GAA celebration which is open to all P4 to P7 pupils at the Club’s catchment schools or any player that attends Club underage coaching.
