Tyrone GAA Handball has a new chairman following a well attended AGM at Beragh on Sunday. Carrickmore man Paul Allison, whose son Niall is one of the up and coming stars of the game in Tyrone will now lead the charge for the small ball game within the county. Martin Toner of Loughmacrory will continue as county secretary while financial matters will be looked after by Sean Clarke and John Smith. PRO will be Kenny Curran while Niall Kerr will be in charge of Coaching and Development where he will be assisted by, among others, Gerard Munroe and Martin Mullan. Paula Clarke was elected as “She’s Ace” Officer for the incoming year.
These are exciting times in Tyrone GAA Handball following on from a very successful World Championships back in October. Already the action is under way as players prepare for the upcoming Provincial Championships and the All Star Banquet which will be held on February 8th.
