Peter Canavan – “I haven’t walked away from Errigal Ciaran”

Peter Canavan has confirmed to Teamtalkmag.com on Saturday afternoon that he hasn’t resigned from the position of Manager of Errigal Ciaran senior team. It had been reported in one of today’s papers that he had resigned from the post. He confirmed that he had a meeting with the players on Friday night but said that he will continue to act as their manager for the remainder of this year. The Errigal Ciaran senior team are still in the playoffs for the 2011 All County League Division 1 title and Canavan says that he’s “fully committed to the drive for a third successive league title”.
