Place In Corn Na Og Decider Up For Grabs

A place in the Corn na Og final is the prize at stake at Father Hackett Park Augher on Tuesday afternoon [2.30] and there is sure to be Tyrone representation in the decider as St.Patricks Academy Dungannon and Omagh CBS go head to head. Dungannon overcame St.Macartans in a play off at Emyvale a couple of weeks ago and the boost that they got from that result was there for all to see as they produced a superb performance to beat St.Pats Maghera in the quarter final at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena in Cookstown. Key players for them include team captain Enda McGarrity, Ross Lavery, Darragh McCann, Peter Herron, Corin Kelly and Liam Linden. Omagh CBS were impressive during their section were their only loss came at the hands of title favourites and Dalton Cup holders St.Pats Cavan. In the quarter final they edged out St.Michaels Enniskillen by a point at Dromore and they will look for big performances from the likes of Shane McGuigan, Gavin Slane, Odhran McGinn and Ciaran McCormick.
