Player of The Final Award For Tyrone Ace Fay

Tyrone minor Camogs undoubtedly produced a superb team display to defeat Kerry and lift the All Ireland Grade C title on Saturday afternoon. It was a real team performance especially in the second half when they faced the elements and restricted their opponents to only four points while adding eight of their own.
There was much to be impressed with in Saturday’s showing but there is little doubt that when the “Player of The Final” award was announced everyone present was in agreement that Tyrone’s Reagan Fay was the clear and deserving winner.
Right from the start the Eglish ace took the game to Kerry with her incisive running, quality stick work and willingness to work hard. A superb Fay pass in the first minute enabled Lára Devlin to find the net and set the tone for the day. Her 23rd minute point from play was a strike of over sixty metres and helped Tyrone to an eleven point lead at the break.
The second half was always going to be a challenge especially with Kerry playing wind assisted but the leadership and skill, plus scoring accuracy displayed by Reagan ensured that Tyrone’s lead was never under threat.
Congratulations to the Tyrone team on their All Ireland success and especially to Reagan Fay on her Player of The Final award.
