Pomeroy ensured their Intermediate status with a good 3-9 to 1-8 win away to fellow strugglers Loughmacrory in a game that had an evening throw in. The Plunketts edged the first half 2-4 to 1-6 with Christopher Colhoun and Aidan Cunningham getting their goals, John Gallagher with Loughmacrory’s major. In the second half Enda Ward took his personal haul to three points for the hosts but despite having a man sent off the Plunketts were always on top. Jarlath Quinn bagged their third goal with Colhoun and Mark McKenna adding points
