Pomeroy Up To Second Place

Pomeroy leapfrogged over Strabane into second place in the Intermediate table after beating the Sigersons 1-16 to 2-10 at Plunkett Park on Thursday evening. Frank Burns top scored for the winners with five points with Justin McCaffery and Kieran McGeary hitting three points each with Stephen McKenna grabbing their goal. John McLaughlin and David Taylor were the Strabane goal scorers with JP Gallagher, Warner Mullan and Danny McBride scoring nine points between them.
