It was all square in Newtownstewart at half time in this evening’s Power NI Intermediate Championship match. Christopher Colhoun grabbed the only goal of the half while Urney sharp shooter Jonathan Lafferty shot four points for his side. Half Time Pomeroy 1-2 Urney 0-5
Urney took control of the game in the early stages of the second half and went three clear thanks to a Fergal McNulty goal. This rocked Pomeroy back a little but to their credit they fought their way back into the tie when Justin McCaffrey converted a penalty. Mark Devine however broke the Plunketts hearts with 1-1 in the last ten minutes to send Urney into the Power NI Intermediate Quarter Final draw on Sunday night. Final Score Pomeroy 2-5 Urney 2-6
