Grade 1

Loughmacrory made home advantage count when getting the better of an Omagh side who had drawn with Carrickmore first day out. Christopher Coyle and Cormac Ward played well in attack for the winners as did Dara Conway and Ronan McCrystal in midfield with Daniel Mulholland standing out in defence on a day when man of the match for Loughmacrory was keeper Mark McAleer. Dan Sheridan top scored for the St.Endas with 3-2 to his name with Dara McMahon and Aodhan Corrigan also finding the net while Francis Tierney, Matthew Murray and McMahon got their points.

 

Donaghmore secured another impressive win when they proved too strong for Cookstown at Father Devlin Park. Mark Hughes, Tommy Haughey, Frankie Donnelly, Roan Ogle, Kane Jones and Ronan Horisk all weighed in with goals for the winners with Darragh Walshe, Ruan Kavanagh, Danny McKillion and Michael Torres to the fore in their defence. Tom Coyle found the net for the Father Rocks with their points coming from Freddie O’Hare (2) and Bailey Muldoon on a day when they had good displays from Shea McCoy, Fionn Devlin, Barney Hutton, Filip Guedes and keeper Kristers Kusa who pulled off some great saves throughout the contest.

 

Carrickmore picked up their first win of the campaign with a fine performance at home to Galbally. Micheál Kerr 2-4, Morgan McNally 1-, Oliver Kerr 1-1, MJ Penrose 1-1, Peter Grogan 1-0, Cathair McMahon 1-0, Cahir Donnelly 0-1, Keevon Magill 0-1, Oisin Daly 0-1 and Jamie Penrose 0-1 were their marksmen with notable performances coming from Conan Hurson, Finn Sweeney and Liam McElhone. Best for the Pearses on the day were Aodhan O’Neill, Joe McCrory, Michael Kelly, Niall Rafferty and Dara Gillespie.

 

Errigal Ciaran made it two wins out of two as they took the spoils from their trip to Eglish. Ciarán Hackett and Hugh Gormley fired in goals for the winners and they had good performances from Connla Quinn and Oran Horisk.

 

 

 

Grade 2

Killeeshil came out on top on home soil against Beragh when a strong first half display proved key Cahir Mulgrew, James Hughes, Finn Donnelly, Darragh Mallon and keeper Dan McKenna all played well at the back for Killeeshil with James McKillion, Jude Sommerville, Barry Daly, Tommy Reilly, Ronan Donaghy and Matthew Donaghy all contributing scores.

 

Cappagh made the trip to Dungannon and came away with the win on a day when they had good performances from Ultan McCrory, Oran McCartan and Fionn Devlin. Pat Slater, Michael Quinn and Leo Sheehan got the goals for the Clarkes with Conor Devlin (2), Charlie Neeson, Turlach McHugh and Daire Doran getting their points.

 

Coalisland were in fine goal scoring form at home to Moortown. Tommy O’Neill, Jonathan Blair and Cillian Rafferty all raised green flags for the Fianna with Oran Shields and Naoise Woods playing well for them.

 

Moy played host to Kildress and what a thriller it proved to be as it finished all square, 9-10 to 8-13. The sides were well matched throughout with a point with the last kick of the game earning the visitors a deserved share off the spoils. Donal Devlin 3-6 and Jack Lawless 4-0 were to the fore in the scoring stakes for Moy with Kevion Barry Kelly 1-2, Davin McQuade 1-0, Darragh Kelly and Eunan Lavery also making vital scoring contributions. Rory Grimes 2-6, Leo McCullagh 2-3, Fintan Murphy 1-2, Jamie Loughran 1-1, Jonah Corey 1-0, Patrick Loughran 1-0 and Shay Grimes were the scorers for the Wolfe Tones on a day when they had great displays from Caoimhim Heagney, Shay Grimes and Euan Monaghan.

 

Aghyaran travelled to Plunkett Park were they produced a fine display to account for the home side. Brody McMenamin, Oisin Bonner, Dara Glynn, Daithi Gormley and Garbhan O’Donnell were among the scorers for the St.Davogs who had keeper Reuben McMenamin and defenders Conan Moss, Flynn Brown and Lucas Falls to thank in a game that was a lot closer than the final scoreline might suggest. Michael Kane, Dan Black and Ryan McCaul were excellent in the full back line for Pomeroy with Filip Kleina powering through from midfield to get their goal with Brannon McCall, Eoin McMahon and Conall Bonner contributing points for them.

 

 

Scores proved difficult to come by as Trillick won away to neighbours Dromore. Billy McElholm grabbed the only goal of the game and added a trio of points for good measure with Jack and Daithi McGurren on target as well while Dylan Chan, Tiernan McGurren and Tomas O’Kane all played well for the St.Macartans.

 

 

 

Grade 3

Goals were the difference as Strabane won at home to Greencastle. Cillian McElduff 2-2, Jay Earley 1-3, Ronan McCrossan 1-2, Tiernan McLaughlin 0-2 and Charlie Devine 0-1 were the Sigersons scorers. John Anthony McCullagh got the Greencastle goal as well as a couple of points with Shay Gumley and Cillian Tuohey also on target, the latter with a two pointer, on a day when midfielder Rafaphael stood out for the visitors.

 

Despite a battling performance that saw them find the net five times Gortin still lost out at home to Edendork with Daithi O’Neill getting all but one of their majors with Daire O’Kane also playing well.

 

Aghaloo made home advantage count as they held off a determined Owen Roes side to win on a 3-11 to 4-6 scoreline. Tom Donnelly opened the scoring with a goal within the first 2 minutes, and it was a lead Aghaloo never surrendered from there until the final whistle. Enda McNamee, Denas Jaksaitis, Darragh Mulligan and Finn O’Neill all tagged on points in the first half with Denas also finding the net as they led 2-9 to 2-3. They were also ably assisted by some tigerish defending at the back, with Daithi McDonald, Cian Rafferty and Daniel McFadden amongst others keeping the Owen Roes forwards quiet. Finn O’Neill got the Aghaloo goal in the second half with Enda McNamee and Áron Gildernew tagging on points. Corey McBride top scored for Owen Roes with 3-2 to his name with Danny Devenney getting their other goal and points coming from Darragh Porter, James Christy, Luca Devine and Darragh McCrossan.

 

Na Doiri Oga managed to edge out Drumragh in a superb advert for underage football, 8-7 to 7-7 the final scoreline. Daithí Cushnahan 4-3, Cillian Rea 2-1, Cameron O’Neill 1-1, Joey Devlin and Ronan Donnelly were the scorers for the winners with good performances coming from Seanan Fox Duffy, Henry Taggart, Jamie Duffy and Paidi O’Neill as well. Ruairi Doherty and Stephen Hughes were both among the goals for the Sarsfields with Cormac McAteer and debutant Conor Hughes both playing well.

 

 

Grade 4

Rock managed to come out on top at home against Sperrin Gaels in a tight encounter, 3-5 to 2-6 the final scoreline. James Donaghy, Jude Kerr and Owen McElhatton had solid games in defence for Rock with Fionn Graham bagging a couple of goals.

 

Castlederg were 2-11 to 2-6 winners away to Augher. Aidan Lynch top scored for the winners with 1-7 to his name with Ronan Bradley notching 1-2 and Ollie Lynch and Piaras Friel also getting on the scoresheet on a day when Cormac O’Kane and Tom Conlin were solid in defence for them.

 

Tattyreagh were convincing winners away to Urney. Cahir McKane made a number of great saves in goals for the winners with Finbar Mitchell and Michael Mullan standing out in defence with Pearse McGloan, Noah Galbraith and JR Gilmurray all having positive impacts in the second half. Dan Norris and Senan Darcy were joint top scorers on the day with 2-8 and 4-2 respectively while Joe Teague and Noah Darcy both scored a hattrick of goals with James Colton 0-2, Shanog McKenna and Daniel McGinity adding points.

 

Drumquin emerged comfortable winners away to Naomh Eoghan. Daithi McCaffrey 3-2, Cahir Cassidy 2-2, Jamie Brown 2-2, Robbie Diver McCauley 1-4, Corey McElholm 1-3, Cormac O’Kane 1-1, Daniel Colton 1-0, Donnacha Colhoun 1-0 and Caiden Graham 0-2 were the scorers for the Wolfe Tones.

 

Development League

Galbally lost out to Donaghmore in a high scoring encounter despite the best efforts of Cillian Quinn, Finn Gillespie, Dara Grieve and Tadhg Murphy.
