Stewartstown 10-24 Omagh Thirds 1-8

As the scoreline suggests this was a completely one sided affair from start to finish at Killeeshil on Saturday afternoon as Stewartstown breezed into the quarter finals of the Junior championship.

Full back Cumhai O’Neill opened the scoring with a two pointer and the Harps just seized complete control on a day when they had an impressive 13 different scorers. Theo Lowe, Kyran Robinson and Paddy Park all had points with GO POWER man of the match Macaulay Quinn landing a two pointer before Sean Bresnahan converted an Omagh free. Paul Murphy then registered for Omagh as well but that proved to be their last score of the half. Dylan McElhatton, Jude Lowe and Stephen Talbot all found the net with points coming from Ruairi Dillon, Theo Lowe, Eoghan O’Donnell and Rian Biggs to leave it 4-18 to 0-2 at the break.

The opening score of the second half was another Stewartstown goal this time from Odhran Robinson before Omagh replied with a major of their own from Ciaran Lagan. Ben McFarland then landed a superb two pointer for Omagh and Jordan O’Reilly followed that up with a point. Stewartstown though continued to keep the scoreboard ticking over Biggs finding the net twice and Pauric Doran coming off the bench to score a hattrick. McFarland notched his second two pointer of the day but it was academic at that stage.
