This Sunday April 6th is a major occasion for all involved in Tyrone GAA as the county gets ready for the visit of the All-Ireland and National League Champions Dublin. The match at Healy Park has a 3:00pm throw in time and a huge crowd is expected.

This present Dublin side is surely one of the greatest football teams of the modern era and their style of play is something most teams can only dream of. Sunday’s game of course is Tyrone’s third home game in this year’s competition and their final Allianz League game of 2014. Most importantly, the result will decide whether Tyrone and/or Dublin qualify for this year’s Allianz League semi-finals.

The County’s final home League game is now traditionally our Tyrone GAA Family Day when our players will be available on the pitch after the game to sign autographs, pose for photos and meet our supporters and followers, young and old. It’s a time to ask the questions, take the ‘selfies’ and literally strengthen the Tyrone GAA family. It’s a particularly important event for our young people – and remember, all under 16s get in free of charge when accompanied by an adult.

Sunday will also see the final draw for five O’Neills Footballs for a School and a Tayto Park Pass for a family. Tickets for the draw were included in the Red Hand Fanzines which were distributed through the county’s primary schools a couple of months ago.

Let’s make sure we get to Healy Park in large numbers this Sunday not only to welcome Dublin but to get behind Mickey Harte and his team and become as good as the sixteenth man on the field.
