Edendork made the long run to Aghyaran and produced a top quality second half to defeat the home side 1-13 to 0-12. Aghyaran began well with Ronan Mc Hugh, Brian Mc Hugh and Paddy Mc Nulty all on target. Edendork managed to keep in touch thanks mainly to Conn Kilpatrick’s accuracy from free kicks. A couple of late points from Brian Og O’Rourke and Dara Conway left two points between the sides at the break with Aghyaran leading 0-8 to 0-6. Edendork hit the net shortly after the restart courtesy of Stephen Gervan and although Ronan Mc Hugh and Aidan Connolly kept the scoreboard turning for the home side, Edendork finished the stronger with David Toner, Kilpatrick, Stephen Corr and Sean Donnelly scores taking the points for the East Tyrone men.

Stewartstown earned bragging rights over their near neighbours Derrylaughan following their narrow 0-16 to 1-12 win on Friday evening. The Harps were the better side in the first half and reached the break leading 0-8 to 0-6. Ryan Devlin (0-6), Dan Lowe (0-3), Peter Armour (0-2) and Ronan O’Neill (0-2) top scored for the winners but they finished nervously following Derrylaughan’s late goal. Darragh Carney (0-5), Shea Coney (0-4) and Sean Robinson (1-0) carried the major scoring threat for Derrylaughan.
