Rock are into the semi finals of the Ulster Junior championship after a comfortable 0-17 to 2-5 victory over Moneymore at Owenbeg on Sunday afternoon. Star of the show for the winners was undoubtedly full forward Conor McCreesh who finished with an impressive 0-11 to his name. McCreesh, Eamon Ward and Diarmuid Carroll had first half points for Rock with a late penalty goal from Rory Young taking  the Derry champions back into it as they only trailed by three at the interval.

The third quarter belonged to Rock with McCreesh scoring from play as well as from frees and Carroll and James McCreesh also on target as they moved nine clear.  Moneymore then staged a revival and when Paudie O’Neill found the net with less than ten minutes to play the gap was just three. McCreesh though scored the last three points of the game to see the Tyrone double winners safely through.
