There were two games scheduled to take place in Dromore’s Paul Mc Girr Tournament but the game involving Coalisland was postponed due to the state of the pitch. however today, Sunday, saw the meeting of Rossa of Belfast and pre tournament favourites Glen Maghera go ahead. A large crowd attended expecting to see the Watty Grahams lads put the city softies to the sword. Well they were entertained to one of the finest games ever to be played in the tournament as both sides produced top quality football throughout. It was high scoring and free flowing throughout and the result was in doubt right up until the end. Rossa were two points ahead leading 3-09 to 1-13 with time almost up when their keeper was forced into making a fantastic save to ensure his team held on to win their way through to the semi finals.
