Rossas Through To Semi Final

Ardboe are through to a grade one U21 semi final meeting with Eglish after beating Dromore 0-17 to 1-10 at home on Saturday afternoon. Dromore got off to a good start when full forward Sean Muldoon scored a sixth minute goal but it was the Rossas who led 0-9 to 1-5 at halftime with the on song Anthony Devlin hitting half a dozen points and Kyle Coney getting a brace, Aaron McNulty with a couple of points for the St.Dympnas. In the second half Stephen McMahon and Ciaran O’Neill grabbed a couple of points each for the visitors but Ardboe stayed in front with Devlin and Coney scoring another three points each with Shay McGuigan scoring twice. 2008 All Ireland minor winner Conor O’Neill came off the bench for Dromore and scored a point but unfortunately moments later he had to go off after a reccurrence of his long standing ankle injury.
