Rossas win Grade Two U16 League Title

Ardboe lifted the Grade Two U16 League title when they edged out Greencastle in a thrilling contest at Kildress on a 1-12 to 1-10 score line. The winners got off to the perfect strat with a goal from Aidan O’Neill in the first attack but despite playing aginst the breeze Greencastle foughyt back to be on level terms at the break 1-4 each with Ciaran Gillan getting their goal. The superb Kevin Coney drove the Rossas forward in the second half with David Mulgrew finishing with seven points to his name and Michael O’Neill, Coney and Callum McGuigan all on target as well. Shane McGuigan and Aidan Clarke landed seven points between them for Greencastle but on the day they just came up short as the Loughshore lads emerged worthy winners.
