Friday 13.04.2018
Top sharpshooters in round two in association with NANG Construction.
Aaron McCarney was the leading marksman in division three last season and judging by last weekend’s return he could well be in the running for that award in 2018 as well.
The Fintona sharpshooter was the top scorer in the County last weekend with a superb haul of 1-12 as the Pearses eased to victory at home to Killyman. Lee Brennan finished top scorer in division one in 2017 and he was in superb form at Donnelly Park last Sunday afternoon weighing in with 1-10 as Trillick enjoyed a comfortable success over visitors Galbally.
The result of last weekend in senior ranks was Edendork’s narrow win at home to neighbours Clonoe with former Tyrone attacker Darren McCurry playing a key role for the St.Malachys with 0-8 to his name, five of those points coming from play.
There were four players who finished with seven points to their name. Pascal Donaghy’s input helped Killeeshil make home advantage count against Castlederg while Sean Og McAleer’s haul helped Gortin make it two wins out of two with an emphatic victory at home to Moortown. David O’Reilly weighed in with over half of Dregish’s total but they were still well beaten at home by Beragh. Donaghmore’s Cormac McCann scored 1-4 at Dunmoyle but his side lost out to reigning league champions Errigal Ciaran.
