Ruairí Devlin from St.Patricks Academy Dungannon and the Eoghan Rua club has won a Danske Bank Ulster Colleges’ Hurling All Star award for centre half back position. The annual awards were announced on Monday and he is the second successive player from his club and school to be selected in this position following Tiernan Morgan.  He has represented his school at all levels in hurling winning a Kirk Cup medal in 2010.  He has picked up an All-Ireland Minor C medal and is in the Tyrone Senior and Under 21 panels for the new season.  At club level, he has collected county league and championship medals on the double at all under-age levels, and this year won the Senior league and championship double.  Ruairí’s father Padraig captained Queen’s in a Fitzgibbon Cup final. This is the fifth Colleges All Star award for the school.
