Scor Semi Finals Held.

Another bumper weekend for Scor as the two county semi finals were held on Friday and Sunday. Friday night’s competition took place in the Dun Uladh centre in Killyclogher while the Sunday venue was St. Patrick’s Hall in Eglish.

Once again the standard in all competitions was exceptionally high but disappointingly the crowds at both venues were down on previous years. As is usual in such competitions not all adjudications met with universal approval but such is the nature of Scor that those who did not make it through to the county final must go back to the drawing board and plan for next year. For those who have made it through there is less than a fortnight until the County Final which will be held in Galbally on Sunday February 20th with a 3:00 pm starting time. In total there will be twenty clubs represented in the County Final with the full list of finalists as follows:

Ceili Dancing: Drumragh, Killyclogher, Carrickmore, Pomeroy.

Solo Singing: Michael Owens, Beragh. Sharon Kelly, Trillick. Hannah Mc Girr,                                                                                                                Killyclogher. Clodagh Campbell, Naomh Colm Cille.
