Scor Set To Change(But Not For The Better)

The shape of Scor seems certain to change following a recent GAA Management Committee meeting where proposed changes to the disciplines involved were discussed. As a result of decisions taken at this meeting it was agreed that two of the current disciplines would be removed from the programme and the new format would focus much more on music, song and dance. If this proposal is approved by the Ard Comhairle at its next meeting then the changes could come into effect as early as next year. This would see the removal of Trath na gceist and Nuachleas(Quiz and Novelty Act) and reduce the number of disciplines from 8 to 6. Tyrone clubs have in the past enjoyed considerable success in both these disciplines and will certainly rue their removal from the clar of future Scor competitions.
