Tyrone Senior Hurlers recorded their first two points of the season with a comprehensive nine point win over Roscommon in Pairc Colmcille on Sunday afternoon.

The foundation for the Red Hand win came as a result of a very strong first half performance.  They had a six points to spare over the visitors by the short whistle thanks to points from Tiarnan Morgan, Aidan Kelly, Joe McToal and Rory Weir.

Further points from Cormac Munroe, Mickey Little, Tiernan Morgan, James McCann and the superb free taking of Aidan Kelly after the break meant that Tyrone were full value for their victory.  Aidan Kelly in particular stood out hitting 0-10 for the winners.
