Sigerson Ladies Advance In Ulster Club.

Strabane ladies advanced to the first round of the Ulster Junior championship when they accounted for Down representatives Newry Bosco on a 2-14 to 2-10 score line at home this afternoon. The Sigerson girls were pushed all the way by the Down champions but two goals from Claire Magill, and a player of the match display, plus huge games from Lorraine Conwell and Rachel Brennan ensured the Tyrone champions progressed to the first round.
Meanwhile Donaghmore’s opponents in the first round of the Ulster championship will be Cavan champions Knockbride following their win in the preliminary round this afternoon.
