Big Joe Mc Mahon was in fairly confident mood when he submitted his forecasts for this weekend’s league fixtures. He reckoned he was in with a great chance of getting close to Peter Canavan’s score and maybe even overtaking the great man himself. Well judging by the results we have in so far the Omagh man certainly seems to have the midas touch. Of the five games played in the first division thus far Joe got four of the five results correct. He was even better in the second division where he has a 100% record so far getting seven forecasts right out of seven games played. However Division Three has so far proven itself to be the graveyard for most forecasters and it was the same again for Joe. With seven games played in the third division his stats read three for and four against with his overall position being fourteen correct out of the nineteen played. These figures give him a return of just over 73% which if maintained would not only put him top of the table but put him in a position that would be hard to beat for the rest of the season.
