Special Twenty Year Anniversary Planned For Ladies

Calling all Ladies Clubs and members
Ladies Gaelic football in Tyrone will be twenty years old this December. The first AGM was held in December 1991 at St Endas. The next couple of months into 1992 were hugely busy and we will shortly be marking the twentieth celebrations. The first county board, a first inter county team, a first ever Tyrone game, the first adult and underage competitions in the county etc etc. With that in mind we are seeking the help of you the general public. Do you have memories or old photos from the first twelve months of ladies gaelic football in the county? Perhaps something from the Errigal Ciaran tournament of 1991…, won by Carrickmore, through the next year of firsts. Have a look and watch this space for plans to celebrate an historic milestone………………..1991 and 1992 also saw the formation of most of our clubs too, so hopefully many of them will be celebrating this special anniversary also.
