Sperrin Og’s date with destiny is less than twenty four hours away as they prepare for their battle with Aherlow on Sunday. The Greencastle girls will travel to Peregrine’s outside Dublin tomorrow morning determined to lift the Tesco Sponsored All Ireland Ladies Junior Club title. As part of the commercial preparations for the final the two team captains plus the intermediate and senior club captains were all invited along to Croke Park for a photo shoot and a lunch this week to highlight the biggest weekend of the year in the ladies club calendar. Sperrin Og captain Margaret Gallagher was accompanied by assistant manager of the team Michael Fox as they toured Croke Park and participated in publicity shots. They are hopeful the club will make history on Sunday and return north accompanied by the All Ireland Club title.
