The Grade One Ladies Minor Championship final will be between Carrickmore and their near neighbours Sperrin Og following tonight’s semi finals. Carrickmore travelled to Glenelly and defeated the hosts 8-7 to 4-6 while Sperrin Og got the better of St Macartans at the Clogher Valley side’s venue on a scoreline of 3-12 to 2-10. In the grade four semi finals Badoney defeated Trillick while Kildress edged Urney in their game.
Omagh ladies minors will face Errigal Ciaran in the Tyrone minor grade two final after a 3-13 to 2-9 win at Clann Na Gael. Leading 0-7 to 0-1 at the break with McElduff , McSorley and Brown sharp up front, Omagh pushed on in the second period. Inspired though by county senior footballer Alana McShane the home side hauled themselves back into the game and with ten minutes left led by a point. St Enda’s however kept their heads as Colton, McDonagh and O’Hagan upped the workrate and Shauna Brown’s goal steadied the nerves. Evie Johnston scored her team’s second goal to put Omagh back in control and they added further points from Kerri Ann O’Hagan and the impressive Molly Woodhead before Eireann Mc Sorley ended the scoring with a great goal.
