Sperrin Og made a winning start this afternoon in their Feile section when they came from behind to defeat host club Rochford Bridge 3-6 to 1-2 in their opening group game. The Tyrone champions looked to be feeling the effects of the long trip south this morning as they began the first half sluggishly. However with Claire Tuohey and Rebecca Coyle in good scoring form and Niamh Coyle working hard they over turned a half time deficit and produced a power packed second half showing to win by ten points.
Sperrin Og face two more games on Saturday with their first opponents being Ballyroan followed by what is sure to be a massive game with Dublin side Na Fianna. Teamtalkmag.com will carry reports from both games as they happen.
