St Ciaran’s Girls Preparing For All Ireland Semi
Thursday 27.03.2014
Good luck to St. Ciaran’s College, Ballygawley U16 ladies Gaelic football team in the All Ireland schools competition on Friday 28th March. The team had an impressive win over Loreto Convent, Omagh in the Ulster U16A final. They now progress to meet St. Leo’s College, Carlow in the semi final in Drogheda at 1pm on Friday. After a disappointing defeat for the u20 team last Saturday the dual players for both teams will have learnt from the experience and be more determined than ever to achieve a win. St. Ciaran’s will be looking towards key figures from the under 20 side Slaine McCarroll, Aine Hamill, Eimear Mc Anespie, Shannon Monaghan, Cailin McCann, Shannon Stevenson, Claire Canavan and Maria Cananvan as they bid to go one step further to claim a coveted All Ireland final place. Good Luck girls.
