St.Ciaran’s Ballygawley are through to the Ulster Bank Vocational Schools Arthurs Cup semi final after edging past holders Virginia College Cavan in a cracking replay at Brewster Park in Enniskillen on Monday afternoon. The Tyrone champions led 2-5 to 0-6 at the break with Nathan Grimes and Conor Kelly getting their goals and Jody McGlone weighing in with a couple of points. The holders hit back to draw level with a goal from Adam O’Reilly but Grimes then scored his second major of the game before adding a point and while O’Reilly got another goal it was the Tyrone champions who held on to go through on a 3-7 to 2-9 scoreline. They now meet St.Mark’s Warrenpoint in the semi final next Monday.
