St.Ciarans Win U16 Title

St.Ciaran’s Ballygawley are Tyrone U16 Vocational Schools champions after beating Holy Trinity Cookstown in the final at Clonmore on Friday afternoon. The winners had first half goals from Nathan Grimes and Jody McGlone but they only led 2-0 to 0-5 at the break with Aidan Woods and David Mulgrew among the points for Holy Trinity. In the early stages of the second half Holy Trinity got their noses in front again through Woods and Mulgrew but St.Ciaran’s refused to panic with Enda McGarrity and Grimes hitting points with a Conor Mullin goal in the closing stages helping them to a 3-5 to 0-9 victory.
