More snow means the All-Ireland JFC ladies final replay between St Enda’s and Caltra planned for tomorrow is off until the new year, writes Damien Donnelly.
The St Enda’s camp had been waiting on news of pitch inspections and weather forecasts but falling snow during Friday naturally decreased the odds of Saturday’s replay taking place.
The two teams battled to a 0-7 each draw in Mullahoran last week,  this after three previous postponements before the latest weekend game also had to be deferred.
Vinny McCullagh and the camp will now have to prepare for a January rematch, Jan 23rd being pencilled in for the next game in this long-running series.
In the meantime the St Enda’s camp can reflect over Christmas on a memorable season that yielded Tyrone and Ulster crowns plus still belatedly harbours the chance of adding an All-Ireland jewel to that crown.
