St Joseph’s Coalisland 5-10 Gaelcholáiste Dhoire 2-6

St.Joseph’s Coalisland became the latest Tyrone School to get their hands on an Ulster title this season when they ran out deserved winners over Gaelcholáiste Dhoire at Castledawson on Thursday afternoon.

Star of the show for the winners was Matthew McNally who finished up with 3-1 to his name but in essence this was a good all round team display. The Derry lads led by five points at one stage in the first half thanks to a goal from Oisín Ó . Two quick fire goals though from McNally and Tommy O’Neill helped turn things around to leave St.Josephs with their noses in front at the short whistle, 2-4 to 1-5.

The winners picked up were they had left off on the restart with points coming from O’Neill, McNally and Finn O’Connor while McNally bagged their third goal at the end of the third quarter. Odhrán Ó Giolláin fired in his side’s second goal to reduce the deficit to four but that proved to be their last score of the contest. St.Josephs upped the tempo with O’Connor and McNally raising further green flags and Shea Kilpatrick getting his name on the scoresheet as well as they ran out worthy winners.
