Holy Cross girls from Strabane were denied by a high-scoring Carrickmacross St Louis side in today’s Ulster Ladies Colleges U-20 ‘C’ final at Galbally.

Tracey Donaghey and Hannah Corey got on the scoresheet for Holy Cross who also had battling performances from Alanna McShane and Eilis Blee among others.

St Louis went on to record a clear-cut triumph with Laura McEnaney, Anna Jones and Emma Duffy getting some goals for them.

Holy Cross can still look back on a good campaign and this young squad will have other days to make an impression.
