St. Pat’s College Dungannon came up short in their quest for a Mc Cormick Cup title as they lost by four points to a much fitter and better organised St. Michael’s Enniskillen at Healy Park. The East Tyrone College trailed by a point at half time but only managed to add one further score in the remaining thirty minutes, a goal from Stefan Lavery. Enniskillen bossed the game for long periods with Richard Donnelly very impressive at midfield and Ruairi Corrigan leading the line majestically at centre half forward. The young dynamo gave Shea Mc Garrity a testing time at centre back and his ability to find space and make the telling pass was a key feature of the game. Big full forward Sean Quigley and centre back Louis Leonard were two other outstanding performers for Dominic Corrigan’s side who were deservedly crowned champions.
