Cookstown and Trillick went head to head in an early throw in on Saturday afternoon and it finished all square at Paddy Cullen Park, 0-9 each. The home side dominated early on with points from Owen Mulligan and Raymond Mulgrew but the St.Macartans fought back to only trail by the minimum at the break with Niall Gormley getting a couple of points. In the second half Gormley traded points with Christopher Eastwood before Richard Donnelly popped up with a late equaliser.
