CNG and Brackaville served up a high scoring contest before the Roes emerged victorious on a score line of 2-17 to 1-15. The sides were separated by just a point at the break with Brackaville leading 1-9 to 1-8 after both teams hit the net just before the break. Kevin Farrell got the CNG goal while Dale Mc Sorley responded for the East Tyrone lads. Brackaville were very impressive in the second half out scoring their opponents 1-8 to 0-7 and were deserving winners. CNG scorers on the night were Kevin Farrell 1-1, Damien Ball 0-2, Danny Ball 0-4, Shea Browne 0-3, Gareth Mc Dermott 0-2, Conor Kerlin 0-2 and Ciaran Kerlin 0-1 while Dale Mc Sorley 2-4, Ronan Mc Hugh 0-3, Jason O’Neill 0-2, Shea Fee 0-2, Sean Day 0-4, Rian Mc Hugh 0-2, .

Drumragh’s unbeaten start to the season came to an abrupt end when they locked horns with fellow pace setters Eskra. A very close first half saw the Emmetts lead 0-7 to 0-5 with Peter Hughes, Joe Marlowe, Cathal Meegan, Tim Meegan and Niall Marlowe with the first half points for Eskra while  Shane Cleary and Kevin Marron were among the points for the Clanabogan based outfit. A Johnny Hackett goal midway through the second period put Eskra in a strong position and further goals from Cathal Meegan and Tiernan Mc Caffrey sealed a comfortable 3-14 to 0-11 win. Drumragh scorers: Shane Cleary 0-4, Kevin Marron 0-3, Tommy Murphy, Eamon Mc Cann, Cormac Norris and Eoin Montgomery 0-1 apiece.

Urney’s return to winning ways coincided with the return to scoring form of Johnny Lafferty as the former county man and Jamie Mc Aleer had a night to remember against north Tyrone neighbours Castlederg. Lafferty bagged another hat trick of goals in his return of 3-4 while Mc Aleer hit 0-7 of his team’s 3-13 total.
