Eskra maintained their good run of form with a facile 5-18 to 0-4 win over an under strength Killyman side. The Emmetts had the points all but sewn up at the break as they led 3-10 to 0-2. Than Mc Kenna, Cathal Mc Gahan, Niall Mc Alinden and Declan Mc Alinden were on target for Killyman while Peter Hughes (4), Aaron Kelly (3), Johnny Hackett (1-2), Cathal Meegan (1-2), Joe Mc Carroll (1-3), Niall Marlowe (2-0) were among the scorers for Eskra.

CNG recorded their biggest win of the season defeating a depleted Coalisland 3rds side 3-22 to 0-8. After an impressive first half CNG led 2-12 to 0-2 with Gareth Mc Dermott, Ryan Devine, Danny Ball (1-4), Micky O’Neill (2) and Shea Brown (1-4) doing the damage for the north Tyrone side. Micky O’Neill bagged a second half goal while Shea Brown, Danny Ball, Ciaran Kerlin, Adrian Ball, Gareth Mc Dermott, Dan Houston and Gavin Timmons all landed second half points for the winners.

Points in injury time from Mickey Hughes and Daniel Meehan secured a 0-14 to 0-12 win for Brocagh over Brackaville on Friday night. Hughes finished with 0-9 while Barry Donnelly bagged a brace of first half points that helped his side open up a 0-10 to 0-5 half time lead. Brackaville improved after the break with Paddy Gervin (3), Shea Fee (2) and Rian Mc Hugh scores bringing the Roes level late in the game. A Ronan Mc Hugh point put Brackaville one up before a brace of Mickey Hughes points and one from Deehan sealed the win for Brocagh.

Cookstown produced probably their best display of the season to get the better of high flying Derrytresk. An impressive opening thirty minutes saw them open up a 1-5 to 0-3 lead with Eoghan Donnelly getting their first half goal. Derrytresk posed a much greater threat after the break but points from Matthew Carberry and Peter Mc Gurk and a Thomas Mc Guigan goal were enough to see them home on a final score of 2-12 to 1-10.

Drumragh bounced back from their recent defeat to Eskra with a narrow hard fought win away to Castlederg winning 2-14 to 2-13. They made hard work of it having looked in total control as they led by six late in the game. However a mini revival and a late scoring blitz brought Castlederg right back into the contest. Drumragh were fortunate to have taken the win thanks to a fine Kevin Marron point following a Mark. Cormac Norris, Tommy Murphy, Shane Cleary, Kevin Marron and Ronan Maguire were among the points for Drumragh while Eoin Montgomery and Ronan Maguire got the all important goals. The Derg will regret the missed opportunity this was and the loss of another two points. Cian Harper 1-0, Adam Traynor 0-2, Mark Corry 0-6, Fintan Gallagher 0-1, Paddy Lynch 0-1, Brian Coyle 1-1, and Caolan Harvey 0-2 did the scoring for Castlederg.

A second half scoring blitz from Fintona secured the win and the two points against Glenelly. The north Tyrone outfit led at the break 1-6 to 0-6 with Martin Kirk getting the all important goal and points coming from Kirk and Seamus Harkin. Fintona were a different side after the break restricting Glenelly to only three points while adding 3-11 to their tally. Cathal Starrs, Conor Mc Gillion and Mark Mc Glinn were among the points for the Pearses while Jared Brogan, Conor Mc Golderick and Marius Monaghan all found the net against a Glenelly side who were down to the bare bones.

Errigal 3rds recorded another impressive league win with a 2-10 to 2-8 victory over Drumquin Wolfe Tones. Goals from Cahir Tierney and Sean Mc Cann were key to the win as were the two points landed by goalkeeper Conor Mc Anenly. Peter Loughran 0-1, Niall Quinn 0-1,Emmett Hackett 0-1, Jody Farrell 0-2 and Aodhan Mc Cullough 0-1 were among the points for the winners. Veterans Liam Patterson and Ryan Mc Callion shared 2-4 between them for Drumquin while Sean Mc Donagh, Caolan Gormley, Benny Gormley and Matty Mc Dermott each bagged a point for their side.
