Liam Nugent finished with 1-5 and Aidan McGarrity and Shane Murphy got their other goals as Rock made home advantage count against Moortown. Brian McLarnon got the Moortown goal with Mark Devlin, Tony Quinn and Peter Devlin among their points.

Edendork remain on course for a potential double after a comfortable win in Stewartstown saw them book their place in the league final. Tyrone attacker Darren McCurry continued his rich vein of form with nine points with Niall Morgan and Stephen Gervin getting their goals. Gareth Devlin hit 0-5 for the Harps with Macaulay Quinn and Shea O’Neill also on target.

Cahir McCullagh posted seven points while Mark Carson got half a dozen as Greencastle defeated Naomh Eoghan at home. Eoin Devine, Brendan Boyle and Kevin Gallagher accounted for ten points of the visitors tally between them.

Eglish remain on track for a place in the league final after a convincing win away to a Gortin side who had more than one eye on next week’s championship decider. Peter McCann top scored for the winners with 2-3 with Rory Fox, Tiarnan McVeigh and Seamus Muldoon their other goal scorers. Kevin McCullagh and Peter Clarke were the Gortin marksmen.

Division two leading scorer Ronan McHugh weighed in with eight points as Aghyaran won away to Beragh. Dermot McHugh, Shea Gallagher, Ethan McHugh and Allstar full back Ronan McNamee were also on target for the St.Davogs.

Clogher were the first side in division two at the weekend to get points on the board when they defeated Aghaloo at home on Friday night. Ciaran Bogue and Ryan McCaughey notched 1-5 each for the Eire Ogs with Barry McKenna grabbing their first goal. Jody McGlone got the Aghaloo goal with Niall McElroy kicking four points and Gary O’Gorman a couple.
