Strabane made the short trip to Marius Mc Hugh Memorial Park and in a close, exciting but low scoring match came away with a 0-9 to 0-5 win. It was the visitors who opened the scoring and led 0-2 to no score with fifteen minutes played. Mna Na Deirge eventually opened their account as both sides missed chances of goals. Sigersons played the last ten minutes of the half a player short following the sin binning of centre back Laura Coyle. The whistle sounded for the break with Strabane leading 0-4 to 0-2.

Mna Na Deirge upped the ante after the break and opened the scoring straight from the throw in and enjoyed their best period of the game. Sigersons got in on the act with point number five eight minutes into the second half but landed their final four points in the closing five minutes of the second half. Strabane proved the stronger side and were good value for their 0-9 to 0-5 win.
