Strong Finish Wins The Day For Gael Naomh Padraig

A strong finish at Drumragh saw Gael Naomh Padraig win the grade 4 U16 league title at the expense of a gallant Drumquin side. The young Wolfe Tones led by three points at the break with Oisin Gormley getting their goal. Going into the final quarter there were still three points between the sides when the winners took over. Darragh Shevlin, team Captain Ciaran Bogue, Caolan Gartland and Tiernan McElroy (2) all found the net as they turned the game on its head to run out 5-9 to 1-6 winners.
