Tattyreagh enjoyed a convincing 4-11 to 1-11 win over Beragh in this evening’s Grade three final following an entertaining game at Killyclogher.
The winners bagged three first half goals courtesy of James Darcy (2) and John Mc Aleer to put them in a commanding position. A shell shocked Beragh battled hard to get into the game with Johnny Woods and Ben Mc Sorley doing their best to get their team back into it.
The Red Knights conceded a fourth goal from the boot of Brian Callaghan after four second half minutes which effectively ended any hopes of a Beragh comeback as Tattyreagh eased to a nine point win. A very proud team captain TJ Richards accepted the trophy on behalf of a well drilled and capable Tattyreagh team.
