Tattyreagh are through to the Junior championship quarter finals at the second attempt after they defeated Beragh 1-12 to 1-10 in their replay at Fintona on Sunday afternoon.
Peadar Mullan grabbed an early goal for the winners with James Darcy top scoring for them with half a dozen points with midfielder Johnny Harkin converting three frees and Kevin Gallagher weighing in with a brace from play. Martin Rodgers certainly didn’t deserve to be on the losing side as he hit all of the Red Knights tally with 1-3 of that coming from play.
The sides were level with time running out and we looked set for extra time until substitute Sean Gormley and Darcy came up with the winning scores. Tattyreagh now face Derrytresk in the last eight.
