Once again the GAA shows itself to be not just part of the community but in Tattyreagh it is right at the heart of the community. Almost three hundred people took time this afternoon to travel out to Darcy Park at Tattyreagh club and compete in their annual five mile charity run/walk. In spite of the unusually cold and inclement weather a large crowd of supporters and organisers also turned out to make sure the day passed enjoyably and efficiently. The main beneficiaries today of course were the runners and walkers themselves while Care for Cancer Omagh and Tattyreagh PS benefitted from the many generous sponsorship donations that were made.
