Thursday Night Wins In D2 For Naomh Eoghan And Pomeroy

Leaders Naomh Eoghan made it eleven wins out of eleven when they defeated Clogher 1-22 to 0-17 at home. Aidan McSorley and Ryan Mayse were joint top scorers for the hosts with 0-8 and 1-5 respectively with Conal McConomy, Eoin Devine and Kevin Gallagher also on target. Ryan McCaughey, Ciaran Bogue, Finbar McCaughey and Jamie Callaghan all featured on the scoresheet for the Eire Ogs.
Goals won the day for Pomeroy as they triumphed 4-9 to 1-8 away to Moy. Peter McGoldrick (2), Ryan McCallan and Frank Burns got the goals for the Plunketts with Hugh McNamee featuring among their points. Ryan Coleman got the Moy major as well as a few points with Liam McGeary,Declan Conroy and Paddy McGeary getting on the scoresheet as well.
