Galbally and Carrickmore remain first and second respectively in the division one table despite the fact that both failed to win their games on Thursday evening.

 

The Pearses travelled to play Loughmacrory in a championship dress rehearsal and it finished all square on a 2-9 to 1-12 scoreline. The hosts led 0-6 to 0-4 at the break with Dara Curran, Ruairi McCullagh, Niall Quinn and Daniel Kerr among the points for their respective sides. Cathal Donaghy increased that advantage on the restart before a Conor Quinn goal left it all square. Grimes and Kerr traded points before Diarmuid Gallagher got a goal for the St.Theresas. the lead changed hands again when Enda McGarrity found the net but Galbally couldn’t hold on with Pearse Grimes’ injury time point giving his side a deserved share off the spoils.

 

Dungannon turned on the style with an impressive 3-14 to 2-8 victory away to Carrickmore. The Clarkes led 2-5 to 0-5 at the interval with Kevin Barker and Dalaigh Jones getting their goals with Paul Donaghy and Danny Fullerton providing points for their respective sides. Paudie McNulty, Ryan Jones, Rory Donnelly, Fullerton and Donaghy all had second half points for their sides with Donaghy getting the visitors’ third goal. Ciaran Daly and Fullerton got the goals for the St.Colmcilles on a night when Donaghy hit 1-9 and Fullerton weighed in with 1-5.
