Tyrone’s opening game this Sunday in The Barrett Lighting Mc Kenna Cup has now been put back until four o’clock. The game against Donegal is fixed for Healy Park but the Omagh pitch which was well covered in frost today will undergo a lunchtime pitch inspection and the decision will then be made as to whether the game will take place. With freezing temperatures forecast for tonight there must still be some concern that the game could once again be called off. This match against the competition’s reigning champions will be the team’s first competitive outing since the tragic and untimely death of Michaela Mc Areavey and is expected to draw a large crowd.
