Tony McKenna was a very significant figure in Tyrone GAA circles. He was part of the 1956/57 panel that annexed Tyrone’s first ever Ulster Senior Championship.

Tony never shirked responsibility when it came to serving his club and county and was both a manager and administrator with Clogher Éire Óg and Tyrone GAA.  Tony held the position of Chair of the Activities Board between 1982 and 1989 and assumed the role of of Tyrone County chairman between 1987 and 1989.  During that time Tyrone won Ulster Minor Championship in 1988 and the Ulster Senior Championship in 1989.  Another irreplaceable GAA stalwart has taken his leave from us.

TTM wish to pass on our sympathy to his wife Sheila and sons Niall and Eoghan.
