Conor McAliskey began the season with a bang when scoring 3-5 against Kildress in the opening game and there has been no let up from the young Clonoe O’Rahillys attacker as he is well clear of the pack in the race to be crowned Begleys Sports senior league top scorer. His nearest rival is Paddy McNiece from neighbouring club Coalisland with last year’s winner Shane Mulgrew in joint third place along with Ardboe’s Michael Hagan. The leader board contains no fewer than four players who won All Ireland minor medals with Tyrone in 2010 namely Darren McCurry, Tommy Canavan, Harry Og Conlon and Richard Donnelly.

Conor McAliskey [Clonoe] 5-17
Paddy McNiece [Coalisland] 3-11
