It has proved to be an eventful 2014 for Rock full forward Conor McCreesh so far and it isn’t over yet! On Sunday he hit 1-4 to win the Todds Leap Man of the Match award and in so doing helped his club complete the league and championship double in a week when he was also nominated for a teamtalkmag.com All-star award. Conor also finished top of the division three scoring charts with a hugely impressive 5-109  total which could have been even higher had he not missed Rock’s final league game. He will be presented with the golden boot, which is sponsored by Begleys Sports in Dungannon, at the Gala in Bundoran on November 28th.

Credit though must also go to Owen Roes teenager Cathal McShane whose twelve point haul saw him break the one hundred point barrier to finish with 11-77 to his name. In most years this return would have been enough to win him the top scorer award. Cathal will also be present at the All-star Gala after being nominated in two categories. Glenelly’s Seamus Harkin finished third with a combined tally of ninety four points to his name.
